LAG Trailers improves its export numbers which drives the search for new employees. The tanker manufacturer has a large number of open job offerings in different departments. All open positions are located in Bree, Belgium.

New challenges, new requirements

The current economic upswing creates a higher number of vacancies at a lot of companies. That’s true for LAG Trailers as well. But next to the invigorated market, it’s the internal policy that drives the recent spike in job offerings.

HR-manager Erik Schoofs highlights the multiple triggers of this HR-challenge:

“The HR-policy at LAG Trailers has been organized in a way that removes the need of vacancy spikes. But our company has global ambitions and challenging goals to achieve. This requires an influx of talented personnel at all company levels.”

Global ambitions, local organisation

The Belgian trailer manufacturer has ambitious goals. The production numbers need to increase to 3000 vehicles before 2020 while the ‘LAG-brand’ will be introduced in the USA, Russia and South-Africa in the short-term. Currently, LAG Trailers is experiencing rising export numbers which in turn cause an expansion of the service- and sales network.

To sustain this growth adequately, LAG Trailers is looking for engineers, welders, mechanics and many other profiles. The complete list of job offerings can be found at www.lag.be/jobs.

The operations are managed from the headquarters in Bree, where all new employees will be employed as well.
